Empowering Underserved Communities: Equity Alliance's Impact at the 2024 Mackinac Policy Conference

The 2024 Mackinac Policy Conference focused on “Bridging the Future Together” to inspire radical collaboration across divides. When it comes to our greatest issues and opportunities, Michigan will prosper when its leaders engage with mutual respect and build bridges to move forward regardless of political party, industry, or geographic location.

Philanthropy today is undergoing a transformative shift away from acts of generosity to a dynamic and intentional pursuit of justice. This session will showcase local examples of philanthropy fueled by trust and economic justice and show how to engage communities in these efforts in non-threatening, inclusive, and data-rich ways.
