In preparation for the 2024 NFL Draft hosted in Detroit, Equity Alliance of Michigan was proud to kick off the week of events with a serious conversation led by Les Brown, dedicated to addressing the pressing issues facing black men in our community. The event was a transformative experience focused on physical, mental, spiritual, and financial health. In addition to Les Brown, the event will featured esteemed guests including retired NFL player Michael Vick, state senator candidate and actor Hill Harper, licensed mental health counselor Raynard D. Meridith and local business owner Romero Williams. These influential figures shared their insights and expertise to inspire and uplift attendees. As a result of the overwhelming attendance and call to action, Equity Alliance of Michigan is going to take a deeper dive into the needs of the men through a ongoing series.

Four-time NFL Pro Bowler Michael Vick joined FOX Sports in 2017 as an analyst for FOX NFL KICKOFF, FOX’s one-hour NFL pregame show airing on Sundays during the NFL season. Vick also contributes to FS1’s NFL coverage across all studio programming.

Vick entered the NFL as the first overall pick in 2001 with the Atlanta Falcons. Throughout his career, he impacted the game and league with the unique aspects he brought to his position, creating a new path for future generations of quarterbacks.
